A journey shaped by lived experience, continuous learning, and an ability to hold space for others

InnerLocus was born from a deeply personal journey, a desire to create the kind of supportive and compassionate space that I myself longed for during periods of illness, uncertainty, and transformation.
To me, finding our inner locus means reclaiming our capacity to respond to ourselves and to life with greater steadiness, clarity, and self-trust.

Born and raised in France within a multicultural background, I have always been guided by curiosity, openness, and a deep appreciation for different cultures, perspectives, and ways of living.

My early career in Travel and Tourism further shaped my worldview, giving me the opportunity to connect with people from diverse backgrounds and deepen my understanding of the many experiences and stories that shape who we are.

After moving to Scotland and building a life there, I continued to embrace new experiences and opportunities for growth. However, my life took an unexpected turn when I collapsed, after years of pushing through and ignoring the early signs that my body was asking me to slow down. I was later diagnosed with a debilitating neurological condition: ME/CFS, a chronic illness that remains widely misunderstood.

When conventional approaches did not provide the answers or relief I was seeking, I decided to take the matter into my own hands, searching for ways to understand what was happening to me and how I could support myself.

What followed were years of researching and experimenting, while navigating uncertainty, limitations, and profound life changes. Through this experience, I learned that resilience is often quieter than we imagine – found not only in perseverance, but also in rest, adaptation, self-awareness, and learning to meet ourselves with compassion in difficult moments.

This journey shaped the way I support others today: with curiosity, empathy, and respect for each person’s unique experience.

My approach

My approach is rooted in mindfulness, compassionate inquiry, emotional regulation, and the belief that meaningful change begins with self-awareness.

Having experienced their benefits firsthand, my journey inspired me to train in the modalities that had been instrumental in my own healing and growth.

I combine mindfulness practice, therapeutic journaling, Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), and the knowledge gained through my ongoing studies in Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy to help people slow down, explore what is happening beneath the surface, and develop a more supportive relationship with themselves.

Rather than focusing solely on symptoms or “fixing” problems, I encourage curiosity toward thoughts, emotions, behaviours, and nervous system responses. Together, we explore patterns, emotional overwhelm, inner conflict, rumination, or feelings of being stuck, while developing practical tools to support greater presence, balance, clarity, and agency in everyday life.

Sessions are tailored to meet people wherever they are in their journey and according to their individual needs, experiences, and capacities. Whether through one-to-one support or mindfulness group courses, my intention is to offer a grounded, compassionate, and non-judgemental space where people can feel heard, supported, and gently guided back toward themselves.

I also believe there is something deeply healing in remembering that we are not alone in our struggles. In a World where many people live in isolation, we can easily forget our shared humanity and that vulnerability, challenge, healing, as well as periods of growth and change are all part of the human experience.

Wellbeing is not about becoming someone different, but reconnecting with who we already are. Even difficult experiences can deepen our self-understanding and reconnect us with our inner strength.

If something here resonates with you, I would be honoured to walk alongside you.
