About These Terms

These Terms and Conditions apply to all services provided by Fadela Benayache, trading as InnerLocus.

By booking a session, course, workshop, discovery call, or purchasing a digital resource, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

InnerLocus provides wellbeing support through complementary approaches, including mindfulness-based practices, EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) sessions, therapeutic journaling, relaxation practices and other wellbeing approaches. These services are intended to support personal growth, self-awareness, emotional wellbeing and personal development.

They are not a replacement for medical, psychological or psychiatric treatment. If you have concerns about your physical or mental health, you should seek appropriate support from a qualified healthcare professional.

About InnerLocus and Qualifications

InnerLocus is owned and operated by Fadela Benayache.

I am a certified mindfulness teacher and an EFT practitioner accredited through EFTi. I am currently working towards registration with the British Association of Mindfulness-Based Approaches (BAMBA).

I am committed to ongoing professional development through continued training, supervision and mentoring to support safe and ethical practice.

Discovery Calls

Discovery calls provide an opportunity to discuss your needs, ask questions about my services and explore whether InnerLocus may be the right fit for you.

The relationship between practitioner and client is an important part of the work, and I believe that feeling comfortable, understood and able to build trust is essential. A discovery call allows us both to explore whether my approach, the services I offer and the way I work align with what you are looking for.

A discovery call does not create an obligation to book a paid service. Working together begins only once a service has been agreed and booked by both parties.

Booking and Payment

Sessions, courses and workshops must be booked in advance.

Payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed.

Prices and service details are displayed on the InnerLocus website and may be updated from time to time. Any changes will not affect bookings that have already been confirmed.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

If you need to cancel a session, please contact me as soon as possible.

If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged at the full session rate, except in exceptional circumstances at my discretion.
Where cancellation is made with at least 24 hours’ notice, you may request a refund or arrange an alternative appointment.

If InnerLocus needs to cancel or reschedule a session, you will be offered an alternative appointment or a refund where appropriate.
For courses and workshops, cancellation and refund arrangements will be communicated at the time of booking.

Digital Resources

From time to time, InnerLocus may provide free wellbeing resources, including therapeutic journaling prompts, meditation audio recordings, videos, worksheets, handouts and other materials intended to support self-reflection, mindfulness and personal development.

Some resources may be created by InnerLocus, while others may be shared from trusted third-party sources, such as meditation teachers and practitioners on platforms including Insight Timer. Where third-party materials are shared, appropriate credit and links will be provided where applicable.

These resources are provided for your personal use and general wellbeing support only. They are not intended to replace professional medical, psychological or therapeutic advice, diagnosis or treatment.

You must not reproduce, modify, distribute, sell or use InnerLocus resources for commercial purposes without prior written permission.

Confidentiality

I aim to provide a safe and confidential space.

Information shared during sessions will remain confidential except where:

  • you provide consent for information to be shared;
  • I am required to disclose information by law;
  • there is a serious concern regarding your safety or the safety of another person.

As part of my ongoing professional development, I receive supervision and mentoring. Where aspects of my work are discussed for these purposes, information is anonymised so that clients cannot be identified.

Client Responsibility

InnerLocus sessions are collaborative and encourage self-awareness, reflection and personal responsibility.

You remain responsible for your own choices, decisions and wellbeing. The approaches used during sessions are intended to support you but cannot guarantee specific outcomes.

To support safe and appropriate practice, clients are asked to provide accurate and relevant information during the consultation process, including any health, wellbeing or lifestyle information that may be relevant to their sessions. Please also inform me of any significant changes before future sessions.

Health and Wellbeing Disclaimer

InnerLocus offers wellbeing support and personal development practices through mindfulness, EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques), relaxation practices, therapeutic journaling and other complementary approaches.

These sessions are intended to support self-awareness, emotional wellbeing and personal growth. They are not intended to diagnose, treat or cure medical conditions and should not replace professional medical, psychological or psychiatric advice, diagnosis or treatment.

If you are currently receiving medical or psychological care, you should continue to follow the advice of your healthcare providers.

Professional Insurance

I hold professional indemnity and public liability insurance with Balens Limited, a specialist insurance provider for complementary health and wellbeing practitioners.

My insurance cover reflects the services I currently provide through InnerLocus, as well as relevant ongoing professional development and training undertaken as part of my continued practice.

To support safe and appropriate practice, clients are asked to provide accurate and relevant information during the consultation process, including any health, wellbeing or lifestyle information that may be relevant to their sessions. Please also inform me of any significant changes before future sessions.

Complaints and Feedback

I value feedback and encourage you to contact me directly if you have any concerns, questions or are unhappy with any aspect of your experience with InnerLocus.
I welcome the opportunity to listen, understand your concerns and work with you to resolve any issues wherever possible.

If you are not satisfied with the outcome and your concern relates to EFT practice, you may follow the complaints process provided by EFTi.

Further information about EFTi’s complaints process can be found on their website.

Intellectual Property

All content, materials, resources, written materials, recordings and other resources provided by InnerLocus remain the intellectual property of InnerLocus unless otherwise stated.

They may only be used for personal learning and wellbeing purposes and must not be reproduced or shared without permission.

Limitation of Liability

InnerLocus provides wellbeing support and personal development practices with care, professionalism and respect for each individual’s experience. However, the nature of wellbeing work means that outcomes can vary from person to person, and I cannot guarantee any specific results or improvements.

The practices, resources and approaches offered by InnerLocus are intended to support self-awareness, reflection and personal wellbeing. They are not a substitute for medical, psychological or psychiatric assessment, diagnosis or treatment.

Clients remain responsible for their own decisions, choices and actions following any session, course, workshop or resource provided by InnerLocus.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, InnerLocus shall not be liable for any loss, damage or outcome arising from the use of information, practices or resources provided, except where such liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.
